Why can’t user accounts be manually locked from the Admin Portal using the **Account Locked** option?

Cause:
Resolution or Workaround:
The **Account Locked** checkbox is a system-controlled status indicator, not an administrator-controlled lock option.
**When the checkbox becomes checked**
The checkbox is selected automatically after the configured failed login threshold is reached.
At that point:
• Login access is blocked.
• The **Account Locked** checkbox appears selected.
• An account locked message appears during login.
An admin can manually clear the checkbox and unlock the account.
