Why are shares getting created when just clicking on the Share Icon?

Original Question or Issue:

Environment:

• Product - FileCloud Server, FileCloud Online
• Version - Any
• Platform - Windows, Linux, MacOS

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Login to the User Portal.
2. Choose a file or folder.
3. Hover your mouse and click the Share icon in the floating menu.
4. If you have access to the Admin Portal, notice in the User Shares page that the share you have just clicked above is already listed.

Cause:

This is an expected behavior when creating shares.

Resolution or Workaround:

When you click on the Share button, it automatically creates the share. However, the share is not readily available until share permissions are explicitly configured, or in the case of a Public Share, the share link had to be given to a recipient for them to be able to access the share.
