Web Access Issues Resolved After OpenSSL and System Library Updates on FileCloud Web Nodes

Original Question or Issue:

We have connectivity from web node to db node. However, up doing a curl locally from a web node we receive curl: (52) Empty reply from server

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.253
  • Platform - Linux

Defect or Enhancement Number:

FCL-7728

Cause:

Likely related to outdated or incompatible OpenSSL package and/or underlying dependent libraries, which may have impacted web access functionality across the web nodes.

Resolution or Workaround:

  • Applied system updates, including OpenSSL and dependent packages/libraries

  • Post-update, web access and VIP health status returned to normal across all nodes
