Unable to use API for External User account

Original Question or Issue:

I recently tried to use the FileCloud API using an external user account and noticed I was not able to log in. I was wondering if there is any way to allow external users to access and download their files via the API?

Environment:

• Product - FileCloud Server/Online
• Version - Any
• Platform - Any

Steps to Reproduce:

Login using external user account using Filecloud API

Error or Log Message:

No Access for your account via this device. Please contact your admin. CLFC-00035-00115

Defect or Enhancement Number:

Cause:

Only Web UI (user portal) access is supported for external users by design.

Resolution or Workaround:

No workaround for this case
