Unable to generate oAuth token

Original Question or Issue:

An error appears "Unable to generate oAuth token: OAuth provider name is not set." when trying to generate oAuth token. 


Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.251.1
  • Platform - Windows, Linux, MacOS

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Using the New UI, try to setup SMTP using XOAuth2


Error or Log Message:

Unable to generate oAuth token: OAuth provider name is not set.


Defect or Enhancement Number:

 


Cause:

 


Resolution or Workaround:

Try using the reset option and entering the same details using the Classic UI via the Master Admin account.


Important note: Token generation needs to be done with the same account as the SMTP Auth User. It is best to perform the configuration from an incognito or private browser to ensure logging in to all correct accounts.

Please try modifying these settings in an incognito window.
