Transfer data between Online and On-Premise

Original Question or Issue:

I want to transfer Data from FileCloud Online to our FileCloud On-Premise instance.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - Any
  • Platform - Windows

Steps to Reproduce:

Two subscriptions to FileCloud services.

Error or Log Message:

 

Defect or Enhancement Number:

 

Cause:

Transfer files across different FileCloud instances.

Resolution or Workaround:

Please install the ServerSync client, Login to the Online instance and select data to download:

Choose one of the two approaches below to upload data to the On-Premise instance:

1) Copy the data to a well-known location in the file system and add it as a network share:

2) Copy the data to a well-known location in the file system and use the seeding tool:

Notes:

Follow the scenario: Seed files into an existing path.
The seed command deletes the source files after they're uploaded.
