Team Folders – Subfolder Size Details

Original Question or Issue:

We have identified using the GUI that there is 1.28TB of Deleted Files inside the Team Folders and we need to have a breakdown per folder size in order to reach to each department for cleanup.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - Any
  • Platform - Windows, Linux

Cause:

Currently, there is no direct feature available within FileCloud that provides a detailed breakdown by folder size, specifically for deleted files inside Team Folders.

Resolution or Workaround:

The easiest way to get a breakdown of deleted file sizes per folder is by using the User Portal (web browser).

  • Log in to the Team Folder account through the User Portal:
    https:// /ui/core/index.html#

  • Go to Deleted Files from the left-hand panel.

  • Navigate to each folder inside Deleted Files.

  • Click on the three-dot menu (…) for the folder, then select Folder Properties.

  • This will display the breakdown of the folder size, file count, and folder count.
