Solr not available

Original Question or Issue:

After upgrading to version 23.242.0.29412, receiving daily alerts that Solr is not available.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.242
  • Platform - Any

Steps to Reproduce:

 

Error or Log Message:

2025-04-09 0:23:44.617951 ERROR: [11316][17441726229805] Migration failed, stopping execution. Error: Expectations not met: solr server is not running.
2025-04-09 0:23:45.975579 ERROR: [11316][17441726229805] CRON: Solr search configured, but issues found. RC: SOLRSERVERNOTFOUN

Defect or Enhancement Number:

 

Cause:

Incorrect JAVA version

Resolution or Workaround:

Make sure you are using OpenJDK 11.02+9. If not, download Open JDK 11.02+9 from https://jdk.java.net/archive/.and set the JAVA_HOME path. After these adjustments, start Content Search from the FileCloud control panel.
