Changing Signers and Resending Invitation Emails after Sending a Document - Signority
Sometimes a document is sent to the wrong signer, an email address is entered incorrectly, or the intended signer is unavailable. Signority makes it easy to change signers or resend invitation emails so your workflow can continue smoothly.
Change Signers for In-Progress Documents
- From the user dashboard, navigate to the Documents page.
- Find the document you wish to update and click the recipient’s email under the Recipients column.
- On the Recipient List page, select Change Recipient next to the recipient you wish to change.
- Enter the new recipient’s name and email, then click Save & Resend.
You can also simply resend the invitation by clicking the Save & Resend button without making any changes to the signer's information.
The document will be sent to the new recipient, and the invitation email to the previous recipient will be invalidated. This allows you to continue with workflows, even with any hiccups or signer issues. After making the changes or resending the invitation, you'll notice the E-Sign Status turn to Waiting to Open, making it easier for you to track the new workflow.

Resending Invitation Email
- From the user dashboard, navigate to the Documents page.
- Find the document and click the recipient’s email under the Recipients column.
- On the Recipient List page, click Resend next to the recipient you wish to resend to.
