Requesting Updated FileCloud Online Encryption Whitepaper for Audit and Compliance Requirements

Original Question or Issue:

Customer requested a whitepaper or official documentation describing how encryption works in FileCloud Online (SaaS) for an upcoming audit. The customer noted that:

  • The encryption information available on the website was insufficient

  • Previously found whitepaper documentation appeared to apply only to self-hosted FileCloud Server deployments

  • Existing whitepaper links appeared unavailable or outdated

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.261
  • Platform - Linux

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Search for FileCloud Online encryption whitepaper/documentation

  • Access older/shared whitepaper links

  • Observe:

    • Some links return 404/not found

    • Existing documentation references self-hosted FileCloud Server instead of FileCloud Online SaaS

  • Attempt to locate updated SaaS-specific encryption documentation for audit purposes

Error or Log Message:

No system error generated.

Defect or Enhancement Number:

Cause:

The previously available encryption whitepaper/documentation link was no longer accessible and existing public documentation may not clearly distinguish between FileCloud Server (self-hosted) and FileCloud Online (SaaS) environments.
