Original Question or Issue:
FileCloud update not working through update tool
Environment:
- Product - FileCloud Server
- Version - 23.253
- Platform - Windows
Steps to Reproduce:
Download the FC server packages > click on cloudupdate.exe tool and it will not process
Error or Log Message:
Defect or Enhancement Number:
Cause:
Initially, the upgrade process did not go through because the package was downloaded through the Edge browser
Resolution or Workaround:
Manually downloaded all the packages from the Chrome browser [previous package was downloaded through Edge] and then followed the support documentation. From the Resource Monitor, performed an end task on Xampp-related tasks. Everything started working as expected. Then installed JDK 17 on the server and configured it accordingly.
