How to configure a DLP rule to use FileCloud Desktop in the _request.agent parameter?

Original Question or Issue:

Our current available documentation and the Rule Create Help in the Admin Portal >> Smart DLP >> Update/Create Rule page does not include _request.agent parameters for using FileCloud Desktop for Windows and Mac.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Desktop
  • Version - Any
  • Platform - Windows, MacOS

Cause:

Product documentation needs to be updated

Resolution or Workaround:

If intending to use FileCloud Desktop in the _request.agent parameters in creating a DLP rule, use the value below:

  • FileCloud Desktop Windows

  • FileCloud Desktop Mac
