How are my license seats used by different FileCloud accounts?

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server, FileCloud ServerSync, FileCloud Sync, FileCloud Drive, FileCloud Desktop
  • Version - 
  • Platform - Windows, Linux, MacOS

FileCloud has three different account types.

Full Access

  • These are accounts that utilize a license seat, and has it's own personal storage called the My Files folder.
  • This account is assigned to an internal user of the organization.

Guest Access 

  • These are accounts that utilize a license seat, but does not have it's own personal storage.
  • This account is assigned to an internal user of the organization but has limited storage.

External Access

  • These are free accounts and can be unlimited in a single FileCloud instance.
  • This does not utilize a license seat.
  • No personal storage.
  • Assigned to users outside of the organization.
