High MongoDB traffic outside peak hours

Original Question or Issue:

We're experiencing a problem with the volume of traffic to our MongoDB replica set.

Environment:

Steps to Reproduce:

FileCloud multi-tenant HA platform.

Error or Log Message:

High MongoDB traffic, even without any user activity.

Defect or Enhancement Number:

Cause:

The Settings DB contains large logos and background images for many tenants.

Resolution or Workaround:

The recommendation is to be in the range of hundreds of KB, say 200-500 KB per image, not in the range of MB.
