Hide the FileCloud Desktop Edit App Button from the User Portal

Use either of the following configuration options to hide the option.

Option 1: Disable Show Edit in Desktop

This removes the Open in Desktop option from the Edit Online section.

Steps:

• Go to Admin Portal

• Navigate to Customization

• Select General

• Open UI Features

• Disable Show Edit in Desktop Option

Note:

• This removes the Open in Desktop option from the Edit Online section.

• The option remains visible under the Open With menu.

Option 2: Disable Show Online Edit Option

This removes the Open With option entirely from the More section.

Steps:

• Go to Admin Portal

• Navigate to Customization

• Select General

• Open UI Features

• Disable Show Online Edit Option

Result:

• The Open With option is removed from the More menu.

• Users no longer see the Online Edit entry point.
