Generate Logs is empty

Original Question or Issue:

Generate Logs feature in Admin Portal outputs an empty download.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - All supported versions
  • Platform - Windows

Steps to Reproduce:

Disable phpinfo function.

Error or Log Message:

CLFC-00004 | Call to undefined function phpinfo().

Defect or Enhancement Number:

N/A

Cause:

The phpinfo() function is disabled as a security hardening measure via the disable_functions directive in php.ini. When disabled, the Generate Logs feature cannot collect PHP environment data, which causes it to produce an empty download.

Resolution or Workaround:

This is expected behavior. You can still download FileCloud log and configuration files directly from the server. Log files are typically located in the FileCloud installation directory (for example, C:\xampp\htdocs\logs on Windows), and configuration files can be accessed from the Admin Portal under Settings.
