FileCloud Sync – Resetting the Sync Client After Multiple Restarts (Windows)

Original Question or Issue:

Trial ended day early while waiting for account payment. Sync app on Windows devices lost ability to run and Web login failed.

Resolution or Workaround:

Rename the Sync Data Folder:

  1. Close the FileCloud Sync app completely (make sure it’s not running in Task Manager).

  2. Navigate to this folder on your PC: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\FileCloudSyncData

  3. Rename the FileCloudSyncData folder to something like FileCloudSyncData_old.

  4. Reopen the Sync app.

  5. You need to reenter the site-url and logins.

  6. Please use the old "Local Sync Folder"
