FileCloud Desktop with FFO not auto locking files

Original Question or Issue:

We noticed that FFO for Desktop is not locking Office files automatically.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Desktop
  • Version - 23.253.0
  • Platform - Windows

Steps to Reproduce:

FileCloud Desktop for Windows configured with FFO.

Error or Log Message:

Not auto-locking automatically Windows Office files.

Defect or Enhancement Number:

FCL-8399

Cause:

Defect.

Resolution or Workaround:

Lock the file manually from the FFO pane.

Notes:

Please note the FFO auto locking issue was identified as a bug and our Development Team will fix it in a future FileCloud Desktop release for Windows.
