Original Question or Issue:

FileCloud Desktop installation fails with a sideloading error on Windows 11.

Environment:

• Product - FileCloud Desktop
• Version - Any
• Platform - Windows 11

Steps to Reproduce:

Run the FileCloud Desktop MSI installer with AllowAllTrustedApps disabled.

Error or Log Message:

Windows indicates that sideloading must be enabled.

Defect or Enhancement Number:

Cause:

• FileCloud Desktop MSI contains an MSIX package required for Windows Cloud Files API integration.
• Installation is blocked when the AllowAllTrustedApps policy is disabled.

Resolution or Workaround:

• Set AllowAllTrustedApps to Enabled or Not Configured.
• Deploy MSI through Intune, SCCM, or other enterprise deployment tools.
• Developer Mode is not required.
