External user can't see a share

Original Question or Issue:

I have shared a folder with an external user, but he cannot see it in the FileCloud User interface.

Environment:

Steps to Reproduce:

The share is under the Team Folder section and the Folder level permissions are enabled.

Error or Log Message:

Failed to get file listing. Check if path is valid and you have access.

Defect or Enhancement Number:

Cause:

Inherit Folder Level Security option is disabled for that folder.

Resolution or Workaround:

Connect to the Admin Portal > Folder Permissions and edit the rule set for that folder.

Enable the Inherit Folder Level Security option.

Add an ACL entry for that folder to deny any inherited privilege from the parent folder.
