Error during Promoted Admin login

Original Question or Issue:

I see an error when I promote a user with an admin role that has permissions only on the Admin Portal > Users tab.


Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.261
  • Platform - Any

Steps to Reproduce:

Create a promoted admin role in the Admin Portal > Admins and assign it to a user.

The admin role has permissions only on the Users tab.


Error or Log Message:

"Something went wrong" pop-up appears when the promoted admin accesses the Admin Portal.

Resolution or Workaround:

Please add the read workflow privilege to that role as a workaround to fix the issue.

Please note that the issue has been identified as a bug that will be fixed in a future FileCloud release. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an ETA or a milestone at this time.
