Original Question or Issue:
Custom CSS is not applied in FileCloud Server when configured through the Custom CSS Path option.
Environment:
- Product - FileCloud Server
- Version - 23.251.1
- Platform - Linux
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a
custom.cssfile containing:body { background-color: red !important; } - Place the file under:
<WEB_ROOT>/resources/customization/css/custom.css - Navigate to Customization → Advanced.
- Configure the Custom CSS Path.
- Save the customization settings.
- Access the FileCloud User Portal.
- Inspect the
getcssentriesrequest using browser Developer Tools. - Review the response returned by the request.
Error or Log Message:
The getcssentries request returns:
<html><head></head><body></body></html>instead of the contents of the configured CSS file.
Defect or Enhancement Number:
Cause:
The Custom CSS Path was configured using the full <WEB_ROOT>/resources/customization/css/custom.css path instead of the relative CSS file path expected by the Custom CSS configuration.
Resolution or Workaround:
Configure the Custom CSS Path using the relative path:
custom.csswhen the CSS file is located directly under:
<WEB_ROOT>/resources/customization/css/Save the customization settings and perform a hard refresh using Ctrl + F5.
