CLFC-01482 Cannot copy files between different storage types

Original Question or Issue:

Users cannot move/copy files/folders between the Managed Storage and Network Share storage. 

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - Any
  • Platform - Any

Cause:

 

Resolution or Workaround:

This is a limitation by design. Users cannot move/copy data between two different storage types.

If the user wants to move/copy data from "Managed Storage" to the "Network Share", they need to download data to their system and re-upload it to the Network Share.
