Original Question or Issue:
Unable to run FileCloud Desktop after installing the application in a Windows Server 2019 environment. The error message below appears in the setup wizard.
Environment:
- Product - FileCloud Desktop
- Version - ANY
- Platform - Windows
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install FileCloud Desktop in a Windows Server 2019 Environment.
2. Once the installation is completed, launch the application.
3. Enter login credentials and go over the wizard.

Cause:
The Windows Search Indexing service is not installed by default in a Windows Server 2019 environment. This is required for the FileCloud Desktop application to run.
Resolution or Workaround:
- Install the service manually through the Server Manager
- Open Server Manager from the Windows Server.
- Select the Installation Type
- Select your Server
- Locate the Windows Search Indexing service
- Install the Feature
- Restart the server.
