Are the files being dropped in the on-prem MFT server, and being shared, getting scanned for viruses? 


Environment:

Cause:

 


Resolution or Workaround:

Yes — FileCloud can scan uploaded files for viruses, but antivirus scanning must be configured first. FileCloud supports either:

  • ClamAV, which is included with FileCloud, or
  • an ICAP-compatible antivirus solution if you already use an enterprise AV product.

Once configured, uploaded files are scanned after the upload completes. Please note that this applies to files uploaded into FileCloud only; it does not protect the server itself
