Air-Gapped Environment

Original Question or Issue:

We plan to deploy FileCloud in an air-gapped environment (without internet access) and would like to request your guidance and installation packages for this setup.

Environment:

  • Product - FileCloud Server
  • Version - 23.251
  • Platform - Windows

Steps to Reproduce:

New deployment in an environment without an internet connection.

Error or Log Message:

Cause:

FileCloud offline installation.

Resolution or Workaround:

Please note that the FileCloud Installer in Windows doesn't require an internet connection. You can use it in all the nodes but enable only specific FileCloud services based on the node type. The detailed procedure can be seen here:

You will need the installer for Java:

Install OpenJDK for Windows - FileCloud Docs - Server

Notes:

For Linux, offline packages should be provided by the FileCloud Support.
